About me
Kaamila is an MPP student at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her background is in impact evaluation and she is passionate about using data, evidence, and innovation to solve complex development and environmental challenges.

Prior to Harvard, Kaamila worked at Sambodhi Research in New Delhi, India, where she led large-scale evaluation and data infrastructure projects for public and development sector clients across thematic areas such as public health, climate, and livelihoods.
She has a growing interest in energy and climate, and has worked on policy research and evaluation projects with organizations including UNDP and Social Alpha. She is also currently a researcher at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs working on green hydrogen applications in India. She has a special interest in the intersectionalities of climate with socioeconomic factors of gender, poverty, and equity.

Kaamila holds a Master’s in Social Science from the University of Chicago, and an undergraduate degree in political science and economics from St. Xavier’s College, India.
